The Power of Orange!

Want to have some fun with the bright colors of springtime? Me too. So I put together a a bright orange flower arrangement… inspired by the color of carrots.

According to Color Theories, orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow.  Orange is the color of joy and creativity.

I enjoyed this joyful spring bounty on my coffee table for a day or so.
(p.s LOVE that Decorate Book by Holly Becker which I recently received for my birthday from Mama Sneed. She gives the best gifts!)

Then I moved the arrangement over to the reading corner to bring some energy over there.  Very stimulating. Loved the bold colors together.

This arrangement was created by simply using florals and veggies that could be gathered from your garden or the produce section of your local grocery.
Veggies – carrots, parsley, collard greens and swiss chard
Flowers – orange gerber daisy, white stock, white alstromeria
The vase is a 8″ bubble/fish bowl.

So I encourage you to celebrate orange this week and Happy Spring!
